Further to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) update on 23 March 2020, Santos today confirmed that as a result of the closure of the Adelaide Oval, the AGM will be held and webcast live to shareholders from Santos’ offices at 100 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000 at 10.00am Adelaide time on Friday 3 April 2020. The Perth office was selected as the Chairman resides in Perth and Santos considers it is vitally important that the company complies with the current restrictions on interstate travel to keep people safe and slow down the spread of COVID-19. Instructions to join the webcast will be published on the Santos website.
Shareholders are reminded that Santos is not able to allow shareholders to physically attend the meeting so that we can comply with public health advice to practice social distancing, which is also necessary to keep people safe and slow down the spread of COVID-19. Shareholders who lodged their directed proxies by 10.00am Adelaide time on Wednesday 1 April 2020 will have their votes cast at the meeting. Shareholders will find instructions regarding lodgement of questions in advance on the Santos website.
