Santos will enter a team of 200 employees in the Mutual Community Challenge Tour – the public recreational ride that follows Stage 4 of the Santos Tour Down Under.
This is a public event that caters for cyclists (or non-cyclists) of all abilities, covering three distances: 160km, 111km and 35km.
The Mutual Community Challenge Tour will take place on 22 January 2010, and will follow the route of Stage 4 just hours before the professionals race.
The 160km event starts in Norwood at 6:30am, the 111km event starts in Woodside at 7:00am, and the 35km ride starts in Milang at 9:30am. All rides finish at Goolwa.
Many Santos employees ride to work every day, share a passion for cycling and enjoy the benefits of exercise. They love a challenge and will be looking to get the best out of themselves for this event.
