Santos today announced that Yujiang (Eugene) Shi will be appointed to the Santos Board as the ENN nominated non-executive director effective 31 December 2020.
Mr Shi is ENN Group Chief Director in Finance, M&A and Value Operation and has more than 20 years’ experience across capital markets, M&A, strategy and business development. Mr Shi was the ENN nominated non-executive director on the Santos Board from June 2017 until May 2019.
Mr Shi replaces Yu Guan who retires from the Santos Board as the ENN nominated non-executive director effective 31 December 2020, following his resignation from ENN.
Santos Chairman Keith Spence welcomed Mr Shi to the Santos Board and thanked Mr Guan for his contribution and insights since his appointment to the Board in 2019.
Under the strategic relationship agreement entered into with ENN in 2017, ENN has the right to nominate one person as a director of Santos, if it continues to hold an aggregate relevant interest of 15% or more in Santos.
