Timor Gap

The Timor Gap is located in coastal waters north of Australia.

Santos has non-operated interests in four production licences, which contain gas, condensate and LPG production from Bayu-Undan and  LNG production from Darwin LNG.

The Bayu-Undan field came on line in 2004 and LNG production at the Darwin LNG plant began in 2006. Capacity at the Darwin LNG plant is 3.6 million tonnes per annum.
