Discovered

The Stag field was discovered in 1993 with the Stag 1 exploration well.

First Production

Oil production commenced in 1998. Currently producing 7,000 bbls/d (gross).

Facility Details

Santos has participated in the Stag oil fields since 1993. Production facilities are a six-leg jacket and topsides comprising hydrocarbon/water and solids separation, crude stabilisation and water injection. The crude is stored on a floating storage and offloading vessel moored to a CALM buoy and is exported via shuttle tankers.
