Facility Details

Santos has participated in the Stag oil fields since 1993. The oil fields comprise 8 production wells and three water injection wells with a maximum production capacity of 50,000 barrels of fluid per day. The field uses electrical submersible pumps for lift assistance to maximise recovery rates. The water injection plan is currently being revised to optimise recovery with additional injection and offtake wells.

Production facilities are a six-leg jacket and topsides comprising hydrocarbon/water and solids separation, crude stabilisation and water injection. The crude is stored on a floating storage and offloading vessel moored to a CALM buoy and is exported via shuttle tankers.
