Review of environmental factors
The purpose of a Review of Environmental Factors (REF) is to undertake environmental impact assessment of activities taking place within our Petroleum Exploration Licence prior to any activity. It is mandatory under Part 5 as required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act). All REFs are submitted to the NSW Division of Resources and Energy (DRE) for approval and can be viewed here.
