Namoi Catchment Water Study

Information from Santos' baseline groundwater testing is being given to the Namoi Catchment Water Study.

Santos’ business planning in New South Wales and Queensland is based on a conviction that food security, water security and energy security are inextricably linked, and that this link will become more pronounced in future.

Santos believes that the Namoi Catchment Water Study (NCWS) will create an invaluable asset for agribusiness and resource operators to use when planning in future.

For this reason, Santos and Eastern Star Gas have jointly committed $1 million to the NCWS, and Santos will share information gathered during our bore monitoring program.

To ensure that the NCWS includes the most up-to-date information possible, Santos encourages all landowners who have the opportunity to participate in the company’s bore surveying program to do so.
