The Santos WA & Offshore Australia Drilling & Completions team participated in a charity half-day event at Native Arc in the Perth suburb of South Lake on 3 February 2012.
Native Arc is a non-profit organisation that provides medical treatment and facilitates the rehabilitation and release of injured, sick or orphaned wildlife.
The team of 33 staff made an outstanding contribution to the centre by building a new enclosure for the joeys, installing a new pond for the ducklings, constructing a ‘free flying’ aviary for the native birds, laying paving slabs and general landscaping. The Santos crew were also given an educational tour of the centre and the opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with some of its residents.
