Santos' Andy Moore, Matt Clarke and Forbes McIntosh riding for a reason.
Cancer Council SA, official Charity Partner of the Santos Tour Down Under, gave special mention to Santos staff in a statement issued today thanking the many corporate teams supporting Ride for a Reason.
Money raised through Cancer Council’s Ride for a Reason will help fund critical cancer research, invest in cancer prevention programs and provide support for people with cancer, their families and friends.
Participants can dedicate their ride and honour the people they know who have been impacted by cancer, while raising funds for future cancer research breakthroughs.
In their statement, Cancer Council SA quoted several Santos staff members who shared their personal reasons for riding in this year’s event.
Ride for a Reason teams will be tackling the 138-kilometre BUPA Challenge on Friday, January 20. Santos will be represented by 200 employees across 10 teams.
