Andy Moore, Matt Clarke and Forbes McIntosh raising money for Ride for a Reason.
One in four people will develop cancer by age 60. That is the reality today, but through research and a healthy lifestyle we can change this.
One person passionate about making a change is Santos' Subsurfaces Manager Forbes McIntosh, and his team who are riding each day in the Santos foyer, 60 Flinders Street, to raise money for Ride for a Reason as part of the Bupa Challenge Tour.
Last year those that participated in the initiative raised over $10,000 and this year we can do better! All money raised will go to the Cancer Council SA where it will be invested in vital research to prevent, treat and cure cancer.
Employees will be riding between 8:00am and 9:00am, and 12:00pm and 1:00pm every weekday until Friday 16th December 2011. Come and see Santos' CEO David Knox peddling for charity on Friday 9th December at 8:00am!
You can support the Santos riders by making a donation to the collection tins in the Santos Centre foyer or online at http://www.rideforareason.com.au/
