David Knox spoke to UniSA graduates about his experiences and the opportunities in the resources industry.
Santos CEO David Knox last week spoke at the graduation ceremony for students of the University of South Australia’s School of Management and International Graduate School of Business.
About 1,500 people attended the event at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
David spoke about his experiences directly following his own graduation, the importance of openness, enterprise and innovation, and the opportunities that the local and international resources industry has to offer.
David’s address was facilitated through Santos’ partnership with UniSA and the University College London. Santos, UniSA and UCL have jointly developed an energy-focused MBA to address growing demand for professionals in the energy sector.
Under an arrangement that began this year, MBA students at UniSA seeking an energy and resources element to their degree can undertake part of their studies at UCL’s Adelaide campus, which itself was established with support from Santos.
To date, nine Santos employees have enrolled in a UniSA MBA and are taking advantage of the arrangement with UCL.
