Santos employees in Adelaide raised $900 on Starlight Day recently, which will be given to the Starlight Children’s Foundation for a project at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Staff set up a stall in the lobby of the Santos Centre to sell merchandise and accept donations from everyone on their way into work.
This fundraising builds on Santos’ existing relationship with the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Santos is a Foundation Partner and has already contributed $300,000 towards the first Starlight Express Room in South Australia. This facility will be opened later this year at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and will make hospital stays a little easier for seriously ill children.
