Santos is a proud sponsor of the 2010 Special Olympics Australia IX National Games, which will be held in Adelaide from 19-24 April.
More than 850 athletes with an intellectual disability will meet in Adelaide with their coaches, families and volunteers for a week of competition and celebration. All the athletes will compete for the chance to be chosen to represent Australia at the 2010 Special Olympics Summer World Games in Athens, Greece.
Santos’ sponsorship of the 2010 Special Olympics Australia is part of the company’s community strategy to support events that have a positive impact in the community and promote a healthy lifestyle.

In the lead-up to the games, the Law Enforcement Torch Run is making its way across South Australia towards the opening ceremony on 19 April.
The torch started its journey on the Gold Coast on 19 March and has so far crossed three states in the hands of more than 1,000 participants.
